That's where DVD ReBuilder (DVD-RB) comes in. This program was built to bridge the gap between the incredibly easy but limited "one-click" solutions and the incredibly complex but high-quality methods of DVD ripping and backup. Another advantage of DVD-RB when compared to older methods is that it doesn't require access to an expensive authoring package. DVD-RB includes its own reauthoring engine that reconstructs the DVD in a way compatible with its original design.
Over the course of the past couple of years DVD ripping techniques have changed dramatically. Newer "one click" programs have made backing up a DVD a fairly simple process... but there is a significant trade-off. The quality that can be attained by even the best of these programs is poor in comparison to original techniques that used Cinemacraft Encoder, TMPGEnc, or other top-notch encoders. The reason is simple. When using one of these encoders the picture is rebuilt from scratch and optimized for the resulting bit rate. One-touch transcoders usually change quantization and/or motion info in order to lower the bit rate. This can result in pixelation and poor overall picture.
DVD Rebuilder PRO features:
- Closed Captions - Now DVD-RB will extract closed caption data from the original DVD and remultiplex it into the MPEG stream during REBUILD.
- Menu Encoding - The ability to scan and reencode menu segments in the same way as standard title sets.
- Multiple encoder instances - On multiple core computers and some very fast single core computers using hyperthreading this will take advantage of unused processor time.
- Movie and Menus Only capability - allows you to get the best quality within limited available space.

- One pass encoding support for HC encoder - Gives high quality results in much less time.

- ISO file creation is now supported to make it easier to archive or burn DVD-RB's output.
- Automatic burning using ImgBurn or DVD Decrypter - makes complete DVD Backup truly "one-click".
- Remapping audio tracks - set the default to your language or preferred format.
- New intuitive interface - modernizes and simplifies control of your rebuild!
- Full support for video interleaving (ILVU) - re-encodes angle and seamless branching.

Changes in version 1.28.2, July 12th, 2008:
* Made numerous changes to make DVD-RB more sensitive to the security environment of Vista.
* Made changes to make DVD-RB more compatible with some windows emulators.
* Added support for the HC adaptive quantization (*AQ) function. This setting can improve picture in flat parts. A default value of "2" is used, but can be changed by setting "HC_AQ=n" in the "" area of REBUILDER.INI. "n" can be any integer value between 0 and 4. "0" disables AQ and "4" results in lower quants. Note: Keep in mind that due to virtualization associated with VISTA, your most current INI may be located in the VISTA VirtualStore. One easy way to get to it (if you are using VISTA), is to create a shortcut on your desktop that points to it.
* Added a parameter to the HC SETTINGS menu that enables and disables LOGGING when encoding with HC encoder. The log will be written to a file named "HCLOG.TXT" in the working directory.
* Included HC Encoder v0.23 in the installation packages. This version includes extended features and bug fixes.
* Added ability to have different 1st and 2nd passes when using MOBILE encoding (see the MOBILE.INI template under the AVCHD beta for an example.
* Added a "hidden" option called "ImgBurnDest" that, when added to REBUILDER.INI will force the write to a specific drive. This is expecially useful when working on a computer that has more than one writable drive. As an example, to force output to the "F:" drive you would add "ImgBurnDest=F:" to REBUILDER.INI.
* Modified the TEMPLATE commands so they automatically look in the VirtualStore for templates.
* Corrected "35601" error that could happen (very rarely) on sources with no audio.
* Added a parameter to the REBUILDER.INI file so that an alternate AVISYNTH resizing algorithm can be used for certain functions (e.g. converting from 4:3 widescreen to 16:9 anamorphic). The default is "LanczosResize". Example usage: "RESIZE=Spline36Resize" Note: Adding an incorrectly spelled resize parameter will cause your encoding to fail.
* Other minor and cosmetic changes.

Synopsis:
The year: 2241. The transport vessel PANDORA hurtles through space, bringing an alien energy source known as ?Thanatos? to fuel-starved planet Earth. The Pandora?s six-person crew is headed by CAPTAIN HOLLOWAY, a tough, no-nonsense woman, recently promoted after the untimely death of former captain, and her fiancee, RUBINI. Some of the crew are suspicious of Thanatos, which almost seems to have a life of its own. It doesn?t take long before the ?nurses? reveal their true nature: THEY are the space pirates, and they immediately begin taking over the Pandora, seducing and capturing the crew. In the melee, Thanatos is ruptured, spewing noxious green fluid all over one of the pirates. She begins to physically mutate, her features growing monstrous as she becomes a bloodthirsty PLAGUER! One by one, the Pandora crew and pirates fall victim to the virus, as they are attacked and then reborn as demonic, ravenous creatures. Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War is a military science fiction real-time strategy video game game developed by Relic Entertainment based on Games Workshop's popular tabletop wargame, Warhammer 40,000.
The game is set in the Warhammer 40,000 universe, a dystopian vision of the future. Humanity has forged a galaxy-spanning empire, The Imperium, with the Immortal Emperor as humanity's leader and a living god. The Imperium is in a state of constant war with the Orks, Eldar, and the human servants of Chaos, desperately fighting to preserve the human race from extinction. The single player campaign is set on the planet Tartarus.
Gameplay is initially focused on capturing and holding strategic locations on the battlefield. These control points are captured by infantry squads and provide resources to construct additional units and buildings or unlock certain units in an army's tech tree. Battles are won either by holding a certain number of control points for a period of time or by destroying all of the opposing armies' HQ structures.
One thing that really works in favor of the game is its speed and frantic combat. Whether you?re playing single player or multiplayer, the action comes fast enough to not notice any drawbacks to the combat system.
